Cari membri della Comunità Marymount,
così come Papa Francesco qualche giorno fa è entrato nelle case di tutti noi, anticipando la Settimana Santa e arrivando al cuore di ognuno con saggezza, tenerezza e umiltà, anche noi vogliamo far arrivare a voi, alle vostre famiglie, ai vostri cari il nostro augurio più sincero per questa Pasqua insolita. E’ un momento difficile per tutti, difficilissimo per alcuni. Lasciamo che dal silenzio delle nostre città, l’amore di Dio senza limiti ci dia la forza ed il coraggio per remare insieme. Siamo ora tutti nella stessa barca.

just as Pope Francis a few days ago entered our homes, anticipating Holy Week and reaching everyone’s heart with wisdom, tenderness and humbleness, we too want to send to you, your families, and your loved ones our most sincere wishes for this unusual Easter. It is a difficult moment for everyone, very difficult for some. From the silence of our cities we let the boundless love of God give us the strength and courage to row together from inside the same boat on which we find ourselves now.

In the risen Jesus, life won on death and this Easter our faith nurtures our hope, the hope of a better time to come in which we become better, finally free from pain and from this pandemic.
