On October 22, the children in IIIA organized a small Plant Show displaying the different types of plants they are growing and tending to in class.
A Plant Identity Card was prepared for each plant, containing the plant’s common name, its scientific name, its habitat and other interesting information. The show was visited by three classes: IA, IIIB and IVA and by some teachers and members of the staff. Entrance tickets and special stamps were given to those who attended and the children in IIIA took turns guiding their guests.
Back in class the children shared their experiences of the event with great enthusiasm. They really enjoyed teaching other children, learning more about plants and, most of all, were very proud of what they had accomplished.
